Off to Copenhagen and Aarhus for family holiday end of august. Very kid friendly and loads to do. I’ll need to find a bar to slink off to for Brighton/villa/spurs games

I remember you went there about 10 years ago and started a thread saying it was shit and was about a tenner a pint.

Stuck with me and I've passed off the opportunity to go a few times since

That is all

Re: Denmark
In the light of Greenland's recently discovered mineral riches, I wouldn't be surprised if Denmark took that right to separate away, though.

All very well letting one of the poorest regions go, but the richest...

Re: Denmark
Greenland has the right to separate, and is fairly close to doing so.

But it is still part of the Kingdom of Denmark at the moment

I used to go to Copenhagen a lot for work, it's a fantastic place but expensive, the locals are so friendly and good looking I don't know if they lock away the overweight chavs or just don't have them

Emil Christian Hansen

Danish mycologist and fermentation physiologist.

Hired by the Carlsberg Laboratory in Copenhagen in 1879, he became the first to isolate a pure cell of yeast in 1883, and after combining it with a sugary solution, produced more yeast than was in a yeast bank. It was named as Saccharomyces carlsbergensis after the laboratory, and is the yeast from which are derived, all yeasts used in lager beers.[4] See Fermentation, Yeast.

Went Copenhagen circa 95, the only two things I remember are Tivoli Gardens and it being outrageously expensive.
